Facing Maine’s Scholarship Award: Supporting outstanding Maine high school seniors with cleft or cra

Many of us at Facing Maine know just how many challenges children born with cleft or craniofacial differences have growing up.
The annual Facing Maine Scholarship Program was established to recognize the resilience, strength, and achievements, of a Maine high school Senior, who has a cleft or craniofacial condition.
In celebration of what they have overcome, including, their hard work in school, outstanding personality and abilities, and dedication to community, we are offering an annual $250 award.

Eligibility is based on the following:
Applicants must have a diagnosis of a craniofacial difference. (i.e. Cleft Lip and Palate)
Applicants must reside in Maine.
Applicants must be a high school senior currently attending school in Maine and on track for graduating in Spring of 2019.
All applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2019.
A 200-500 word essay is required with the application.
